Construction contractors have plenty to build in 2016
With projects abundant, hiring expected to grow.
Thanks to planned construction of education facilities and other public and private projects, San Antonio commercial contractors can share in state and national optimism for a busy 2016, local and national industry leaders said Wednesday.
The optimism will be reflected in construction hiring at a majority of contractors, according to the 2016 survey conducted for the Arlington, Virginia-based Associated General Contractors of America.
Mike Kaiman, vice president and general manager for South Texas at New York City-based Turner Construction Co., listed four projects that will keep San Antonio contractors busy this year. Read more.
